What is your mission?

The GIRL Institute's mission is to create women's embassies that address global gender inequality through building communities, facilitating resources, and providing space for think tanks, educational workshops, and support groups.

Where does the money go when I donate?

Donations to the GIRL Institute go towards supporting our programs and initiatives that empower girls and women.

1. Program Development: Creating and implementing innovative programs, workshops, and tool kits that focus on leadership, education, and personal growth.

2. Scholarships: Providing financial assistance to girls and women to pursue education, skills development, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

3. Mentorship Initiatives: Training and supporting mentors who work with girls and women, offering guidance and support.

4. Community Outreach: Reaching marginalized communities, providing resources, and promoting gender equality.

5. Advocacy and Awareness: Supporting advocacy campaigns, research, and awareness initiatives that promote gender equality and challenge gender-based stereotypes.

6. Operations and Administration: Covering essential costs, such as staff salaries, office expenses, and marketing materials.

7. Partnerships and Collaborations: Building partnerships with organizations, schools, and communities to expand the Girl Institute's impact.

The GIRL Institute leadership consists of:


Advisory Board:
A group of women who provide guidance, expertise, and support to our organization by offering strategic advice, assistance with fundraising and more.


Working Board of Directors: 
A group of dedicated individuals responsible for overseeing the management of the GIRL Institute.  They set policies, make key decisions, and are actively involved in our organization’s operations.


Staff:
 A team of women who work together to implement the GIRL Institute’s programs, services, and initiatives.  They are responsible for the day-to-day operations, management, and delivery of our mission.


Having a leadership structure composed entirely of Women is a testament to the GIRL Institute’s commitment to empowering women and girls.  Our structure allows for a diverse range of perspectives, experiences, and expertise to shape our organization's direction and decision-making processes. With women at the helm, the GIRL Institute is well positioned to address the unique challenges and opportunities facing girls and women, and create a positive impact in their lives.
